Speak UP!All Americans have the right to speak up when and speak their minds. This is a right that many men and women have given their lives for. Yet, even though we can't even count how many lives have been sacrificed for that right, many Americans don't take advantage of it. Either because they don't feel their opinion matters or they don't know who they are suppose to tell, or, possibly, because they are too lazy to find out how to contact our elected representatives. Americans who vote are the ones who put people into political office. The people elected are there as a civic duty to serve the American public. We Americans need to take advantage of our ability to directly contact those that we put into office. |
